Mac mini is less than half the size of the previous design at just 5x5 in. The system packs an incredible amount of performance into a tiny footprint, enabled by the power efficiency of Apple silicon and an innovative thermal architecture, which guides air to different levels of the system. It’s also the first carbon neutral Mac with an over 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions across its materials, manufacturing, transportation, and customer use. The enclosure is made with a new impact extrusion process that reduces the aluminum needed by over 85% compared to the previous model.
