Jovem MK - Meu Karma

For many young people living in Brazil's favelas, the first gift they receive in life is a firearm. It is not a soccer ball. It's not a doll. It is a gun. This is the story of Jovem MK, a new Brazilian rapper who was about to release her debut album titled Meu Karma, inspired by her life story. To launch the album Meu Karma, we decided to go beyond a simple music video for a single. We transformed her life story into a powerful musical short film for the entire album, highlighting the rise and redemption that young Brazilians experience when they fall into a life of crime at a early age.
