This print campaign recreated those historical patterns in striking duotone portraits, revealing their cartographic significance. Published in leading Puerto Rican newspapers, the work reignited conversation on hair discrimination, ultimately contributing to the passing of Act 1282, which prohibits discrimination based on hairstyle.
